0.25 Splitting My Screen

Splitting My Screen

Splitting your screen refers to having two windows open side by side so you can see them both at the same time.  This is very helpful if the module you are working on contains a page of text or a video that you must watch while filling in an online assignment.  It also means you can have a Teams class meeting open on one side of your screen and Canvas with your assignments open on the other side.

Ok, so how do I do it?

Screen splitting involves a keyboard shortcut.  You will press the Windows Icon key and the left or right arrow key at the same time.  This should move whatever window you have open to the left or right side of the screen.  It moves to the left if you pick the left arrow key and the right if you pick the right arrow key.

To get a second window beside it, simply open that window and click the Windows Icon key and the opposite arrow to your previous choice.
